I am super proud of the teams performance today!! Things didn't go our way but what a performance against alledgedly the best and biggest pack in the league!!

I could not fault one player, even Warrington played well but the difference was the man in the middle!!

And Mark O'Meley, what can I say?? They guy is simply awesome!! Morley was scared stiff of him!!

thought our lads played extremely well after a tough fixture on friday, no one can be faulted, scoreline flattered wire imo, just a shame we couldn't have had a full strength team out, i'm more than certain we would have turned them over, warrington are miles behind wigan, which shows how good wigan are this season

Yup, it was a really good performance especially in that first half.

Not deserving of a 19 point defeat.

I thought the guys backed up extremely well given the circumstances.

Fatigue was always going to tell in the end especially since they had a walk in the park against Salford on Friday as opposed our derby plus we were a bench rotation down from the start because of the baffling decision to put Lyne on the bench.
Add to that the fact we played the majority of the game with no halfbacks and I don't really think we got the rub of the green decision wise and we were always up against it.

IMO the team can be proud of the effort they put in today, especially Sam Moa who had a stormer.

Echo the OP's sentiments. Good effort from all the boys, especially the forwards. Great effort from them all.

Scoreline never reflected the game in the slightest, there was 6 points in it with 12 mins to go. Well done the lads, we had 6 1st teamers out to start the game, then with Long off we had to rely on the boys out there and they did they're up most to contain them and attack.

All team played well but don't back up the ball carrier, so make a half break and no one there to carry it on.

I didn't think you were all that special today though, perhaps Briers was a little rusty after being out for awhile.
The forward battle was immense though, some great tackles.

I expected us to get a hammering and actually we were definitely in the game - but one key thing made it just too hard.

They were as special as we allowed them to be.

Here we go. It was all Ganson's fault. The decision to penalise Hull for dragging the man into touch came with about 12 minutes to go when we had failed to score a single point in the second half. Washbrooks pass to Manu for Hull's second try was a mile forward. The effort was superb today - lets not pretend that Ganson cost us the game or that with a full strength team out we would have won.

Wire always has the upper hand and were faster and had more craft. What Hull needed was a speedster on the bench who may have offered something different when we were 6 points down....oh hang a minute.
