Bit hard to tell really definately 4 off started with one of our players (Donkin I think) claiming he had been bitten in the tackle, this was just after he had intercepted to score and put the game beyond Rovers a massive scrap (Best I have seen in years) broke out and at one time three fights were going on at once. Final score 33-16 Reece Lyne had a great first half made one scored two!

Doesnt surprise me what went on in the reserve game, theyve spat their dummies out big style over losing yesterday, confirmed by players whinging in the local media.

Rovers had 2 years of derby glory whilst we were in our transitional period, it is now normal service resumed even after this one result yesterday. All that talk from the eastern block a couple of years ago about a shift in power in this city, all the young kids will head east etc, what a load crap, we will always be number one in Hull.

Rovers 18's had the better individual players i thought. Sheriff and their 6 were the best 2 players on the pitch.

At 16's and 15's it wont even be close though as Hull are so much stronger than Rovers at these ages, 15's in particular who could be another 'Golden Generation' like we had 4/5 years ago where about 6 of the squad went on to play first grade.

Well It's a bit early for that but if gates are anything to go by, with their second highest gate of all time at Caravan Park yesterday still 450 short of our season ticket sales, I think we are the best supported! Sheriff is a good player, came from the same team, Hull Isberg, that Reece played in. The reason why Hull didnt go for Sheriff is because they believe they have a better option at full back coming through in Jack Briscoe. Whether that comes true in this isolated instance remains to be seen. Cant comment on the number 6 however.

Jack Briscoe was playing for the 20's unsure who the 18's fullback was as he got hurt really badly. Saul Beavis who will be playing at fullback for the 16's is another reason why Sheriff isnt at Hull IMO.
