As much as I would like and beleive Lyne should play I think agar will play safe and it will be Hall on the wing with Whiting centre. 2 players to miss out will be washbrook and Lyne |

Think Agar will play Hall on the wing again and Cusack has got a few bumps and bruises so rotating with Moa makes sense. |

Do people think Lyne should be given a chance though? He has surely staked a claim for playing in the first team and with no recognised wingers in the team i think not playing him sends entirely the wrong message out to the youngsters.
No disrespect to Salford but if we cannot try out a younger player in this game when can we?

I wouldn't play him just yet. Tom Briscoe I'd class as a winger, played all his FC first team career there and at international level too. The lad is only 17, got loads of time to get games. I'd prefer that we play Lyne in a home game where the fans get behind him more. |

To play devil's advocate - might it send out a subtle message that it is 'only' Salford and your team subconcsciously relax. I think looking ahead to the Easter fixtures can be a dangerous game - I'm thinking that about Rovers too.
For me, in SL, you should always pick your available best XVII, with rotations for the sake of the team rather than individual players. Unless it is the week before you go to Wembley or something like that. |
