The whole pre-match entertainment was garbage.

Mike Lodge's 'Nessun Dorma' was embarassing to say the least. If you're going to sing 'Nessun Dorma' you don't hit the top note in the falsetto. You just don't. Then there was his funeral march version of 'Old Faithful', Johnny Pat's 'Red, Red Robin' and a joint version of 'You'll never walk alone' that sounded like two inebriated old farts on a karaoke.

Truly awful stuff.

Arrived lateish so missed the prematch. Doesn't sound like it was a bad move.

Didnt hear it the Hull fans drowned it out I like the time the Hull fans sang "where your money gone " I think I like the Germans better than Rovers Fans

Mind you it certainly helped create a hostile atmosphere. I only had to endure the first line anyway as the home crowd soon drowned it out!

No I disagree, I laughed when he started shakin his bootee, some old girls near us were loving it...it really tickled me

To be honest I thought the two guys livened the crowd a bit, the humour factor was hilarious, would sooner have that than school kids dancing around.

if we are going to have it then at least lets have a decent tribute band on - queen, led zep, manics, kings of leon - there's loads of good ones around and would be cheap

You must be easily tickled. I've seen funnier episodes of Eastenders.

After the last 2 seasons in our stadium it does not take a lot.

The prematch was a poor effort.

We'd bucked our ideas up a bit towards the end of last season with the male singer and the grown up dancers. Hopefully when the season proper starts it'll be better than yesterday's "entertainment".
