will horneys game be off,will it be played at a later date??? I see that crabtreees game this weekend is off. I really can't see any let up in this poxy weather...

Hope not, its my birthday and have been looking forward to this since it was announced.

I'm on the other side of the fence for this one, I hope its called off 'cos I've got to work on the 17th, if its delayed a week I can go!!

My concern is if it is called off when will it be played, I know KR have a tight schedule for friendlies.

I'm pretty sure of 2 things, the snow will have gone by then and if for whatever reason it hasnt we will make the surrounding areas clear for the game to be played. No issues with the pitch etc, would just be a case of gritting all car parks and footpaths etc.

it wont be a problem, the snow will be gone by Thursday next week.

Well they are pretty confident the Hull City v Chelsea game will go ahead tomorrow as they have had JCB's in clearing all the snow around the ground, inside the stadium is fine.

my biggest concern would be HCC clearing the Park & Ride

Have heard from a very reliable source that the pitch and stands are fine...the problems are on the outside of the ground....but they are moving the earth to get the City game on tomorrow coz they reckon its the best time to play the cockney foreigners due to a couple being on international duty......now thats funny

I do hope your bang on, dont get me wrong i am enjoying my extended xmas holiday break but its a long time since i lost this much worktime due to weather and also my rugby and beer token pot is now empty so i need this white stuff to love off so i can try and fill it!!

Does say on HDM site that this weather will be the same most of next week too. Looks like the commute Mon-Thurs may be a nightmare too.

Just called the KC and they said absolutely yes the City v Chelsea game is definately on , there is no snow forecast for the area and should that be the case then so with RH testimonial as the club and council are going to constantly work on the surrounding areas with salt and de-icing agents till the cold snap is over.
so fingers crossed for no more snow.....albeit the pitch and seats are apparently under ginormous plastic sheets with hot air blowers going 24-7 so lets hope

We are forcast more snow til the end of next week with the coldest day meant to be Sunday 10th.
