Was told today that Quins have offered him a double your money contract.Apparently he is going to let them know soon.
I hope Hull stop fannying about and get this VERY VALUABLE member of the teams future signed up.

If they're offering double what we are I can't see us matching it, he won't be a starter next year so we don't want too much cap tied up on him IMO.

Wouldn't be surprised. From the bits we've heard over the last couple of seasons, it sounds like the club continue to trade heavily on Richard's goodwill towards the club. Would be very disappointed to lose him.

Would be gutted if we lost Whiting.
We should be doing all we can to keep him at the club.
Another one that will come back to haunt us if he leaves.

I think that we have to keep both Moa and Whiting and do whatever we have to do to get to that position, even if that means we are done for next season. Unearthing really good young players is tough, and you just cannot in the current cap and quota climate afford to let other clubs who have not bothered developing such talents to just come in and scoop them up!

Got to keep Whiting even if he might not be starting every week. Great all round player. Moa and him need to be priorities.

Whiting is the consummate professional, 100% committed to the cause and a damn good player to boot. He has never let us down no matter where he has played.

His persistant injury problems cast a large shadow for me, as good a player as he is and as much as i like him everyone has their price. He just seems to go from one injury to another which is unfortunate and certainly not his fault.

Now that's a hard question to answer, but to be fair he just about has been in the '17' apart from Agars incompetence and injuries.

Also Would Turner? Who I don't think is anywhere near as good as Whiting.

If I was rich and someone offered me double cash and better guarantee's on a fixed starting position i'd leave.

Possibly not but if you take all the injuries we have had in the last few years would you think for one minute he wouldn't get much game time ?
The other major problem we have had is too many players have had no competition for their spots for too long. That has to change if we are to progress.
