i think the club will extend his contract along with thackray,maloney and possibly cusack and lee.i am unsure as to motu,graeme horne,but i dont think thorman,hodgson and moa will be around next year.we are led to believe that cusack is in talks but we need something different,and lee may just get another year as he seems to be playing better than last season,though personally i'd let him go

I dont think his lack of pace effects his defence, it's in attack where it is an issue.

Does a great job as a stop gap centre but his future has to be in the pack.

Agree with that, he'd make a half decent 2nd rower / loose forward, but still not at the level for a top side.

Quality player who makes up for any lack of pace with his excellent footballing brain.

Wouldn't make a difference if our defensive pattern was better. Both centres have been exposed by our compressed defence in recent games. If you sort that, he'll miss very little in defence. His lack of pace in attack is negated by his handling skills and reading of the game, IMO.

I'm not pretending he's Matt Gidley or anything, but he's a better option at centre than you, and some others, give him credit for. And this season, he's been better than our so-called GB centre on the other side. And yet no one is calling for him to be moved.

Definitely deserves a new contract, he's a very important member of the squad.
