me too, we were poor again 2nite hardly anybody running onto the ball, when we did run onto it we scored it try. baffles me it really does

Applauding an improved performance but we can't compete with teams like Saints until our playing roster improves and we play with better tactics.

i applauded the effort, even though we were miles away from saints, the effort was there compared to leeds, unlike some who would just prefer to slag off or verbally abuse our players from the stands

Effort. So stop being so miserable and realise that.
I accept we're not a good team but the effort and commitment was there for all to see. What let us down was our stle of play, now who's fault is that?

I stayed till the end to applaude the players who have the bottle to play the toughest game in the world,and try to do there best for the Black n Whites.

What I found really wierd was every time the opposition kicks for goal we normally boo,shout, whistle etc..
Long went for goal and it was so quiet..really weird

imo the effort deserved to be applauded.

We were well beaten by a good Saints side, but the score should have been closer. We had sufficient field position to have scored another couple of tries at least, but still look clueless in the red zone.

SO the international quality players do as they are told, they do not have a brain to think "this is rubbish, we are rubbish with these non tactics, we are boring, we can play better, oh hang on we are not allowed"?

I Think the applause was for the effort. It was kind of like the sympathetic applause the poor kid with the gammy leg got at sports day when everyone else had finished and he trailed in 30 seconds later.

the effort was there, a much improved display, our last plays let us down!
Saints slowed the play down, and while we was getting to our feet to play the ball, Sts had there line all set, Hull are so slow, but much improved!

It's something generally reserved for "proper fans".

'Clap the team off no matter how e they play' is a pre-requisite in order to fall into that category.
