Please can somebody confirm (or hopefully correct) what one of our friends from east of the river told me last night. He reckons they are the 1st team ever from the city to be top of Super League, even for a few hours. Surely we have been there, but I can't remember when.

There are many Rovers fans (and several media pundits) who also overlook the fact that Rovers went top for 24 hours in March 2007 following our home win over Leeds.
Means nowt at this stage of the season.
