Life is a game of inches, so is football. Because in either game - life or football - the margin for error is so small. I mean, one half a step too late or too early and you don't quite make it. One half second too slow, too fast and you don't quite catch it. The inches we need are everywhere around us. On this team we fight for that inch. On this team we tear ourselves and everyone else around us to pieces for that inch. We claw with our fingernails for that inch. Because we know when add up all those inches, that's gonna make the difference between winning and losing! Between living and dying! You've got to look at the guy next to you, look into his eyes. Now I think ya going to see a guy who will go that inch with you. Anyone know what it was. My mate is dobbin and hes giving it the big about us having a 14th man ang getting all the decisions. I thought it was an equal count. I need to text him the facts and shut him up (hopefull) hes getting on my tits.

also if i remember right, they scored thier 2nd and 3rd tries on the backs of two consecutive penalties, think count was 6 all, this was same ref who never penalised the filth in 2nd half v saints

Yes they did. Thought the ref made some awful calls early on against us too. |

Three times he gave the wrong call on knock-ons and deprived us of possession - twice on their line and one on ours that resulted in a goal line drop out. The two on their line were both blatant and he was right on top of them.
Otherwise one of Smith's better games. Which isn't saying a lot, mind. |

dont think he was too bad apart from a couple which looked a bit harsh and i thought from a giants perspective he let hull hang on a bit too long in the tackle, but he certainly didnt change the outcome of the game
