Why can't the board just put him through a medical, he fails it and get rid of him, surely if a player is not fit to play rugby, than this should wipe his contract?

After four rounds, Long will have played one and a half games....a paltry return....I could be made to eat my words but after a poor return on him last year in terms of game time, I can't help thinking the gamble in signing him has not paid off at all.
