I said it when we signed him, and haven't doubted it since, that he's utter garbage. Possibly the worst starting half back in SL. Slow as fook, poor decision making (c rap kicks on the 2nd and 3rd tackle in th eopponents 20 when he has no other ideas), dire kicking game (which was why we supposedly brought him in), garbage defence and general c rapness. I'd rather play Tommy Lee at 7. At least he has some heart

If you look at his career path, no one keeps him for long. I know he wasn't the answer, but James Webster would have done you a far better job this season, but someone didn't want him at the club.

I agree to a point and I personally have never rated him but most neutral pundits and plenty on here were raving about what he and Horne were doing for you when you were 5 out of 5 at the start of the season.

If james webster isn't SL material then Thorman certainly isn't We need a scrum half and we don't have one. Agar hasn't got the bottle to bin him off!

Out of his depth, stick him at full back and get Tommy Lee at 7, at least he puts the effort in.

i've said just the same on the other thread, people slag Webster off because he's a Rovers legend..but at least he could lead a side, and we had few other options after we paid Dykes off so late in the year.

as for Thorman, i'll happy drive him back to Huddersfield.

he had one good game at Bradford and thats it, and thats probably only because Bradford are so slow they make Thorman look like Usain Bolt!

Watching tonight it seemed that most sets he only saw the ball on the 5th tackle. Maybe that's why he sometimes kicks through early in the count regardless of whether or not we have runners, he just assumes it must be the last because he's received the ball.

He's one of the worst signings we've ever made.

That's because he goes and hides as soon as we get possession. I have never known a scrum half be so little involved as he is when his side has he ball.

Possibly, but even with the 9 missing players in, we create nothing from 7 and Horne's a runner.
