| So Richard Whiting's move to centre didn't really work. We've now signed a much better centre, but where does that leave Whiting?
Full back? Probably not, Phelps looks set to be our number 1. Second row? Not for me. I'd personally like to see him play 6. He was very impressive in 2005/2006, a very clever player.

| Who would you put him on the bench for?
Assuming all are fit;
Phelps, Sharp, Gleeson, Yeamo, Briscoe, Horne, Long, Moa, Houghton, O'Meley, Westerman, Tickle, Fitz
Subs: Hame, Radford, Manu and Obst.

| He's an excellent squad player, nothing wrong with that.
We will pick up injuries and Richard can cover in numerous positions.

because he still needs a posistion in the team but his versitility can cover injuries ect and i do think 13 would really suit whiting

| Very good squad player who will get plenty of game time due to his versatility. I too think he should be on the bench as a utility player.

Who would you put him on the bench instead of, given all are fit? (unlikely, obviously)

| Simple. Put him on the wing outside Gleeson and make Sharp improve and earn his place.

| Simple one to answer, rich is the best utility player in the UK and when the inevitable injuries come along he will fit in anywhere on the team sheet without question
AND knowing rich he will be the first to welcome Gleeson to the club!!
whiting is one of the most important cogs in our machine

| id play whiting at fullback as he reads the game perfectly and is always in positionfor anything thrown at him with phelps moved to the wing with sharpe out of squad until he learns to read the attacking plays of the opposition because anyone with a kickin game just plonks it over his head as he is that far in field you'd think he was playin in the forwards
