Not really. In my 30 odd years of watching Hull the only thing I have ever asked from them is effort and commitment. We got that today so I can't see what the problem is in being proud of them.

Because they lost a game they should of won, 12-8 up, they've just had a man sent off, then we self destruct, what's to be proud of?

Thought it was a good effort until Tomkins got sent off. And then we threw the game away with either stupidity or we simply bottled it and gave them the win

Spot on Karen. Massive effort today and great support from the black and whites. If we don't back it up over the next few weeks that will be very disappointing but individual errors today were the difference between winning and losing (and drawing), and made a nice change from shipping 47 points.

I think you can be proud of the effort of the side in general, whilst still being disappointed with the high profile errors of individuals costing us the game.

I'm getting really concerned with the amount of players giving away penalties when we are in possession.

Well said Joe, lots of effort, commitment, desire on show. Not to mention we played some decent rugby and never took a backward step from a defensive perspective.

Sharp needs to sort his positioning out in defence though, twice he got caught in the second half.

After the Rovers and Leeds games there has been a genuine improvement in us during the last three games and if we continue to improve then we should go well.

For me, we could lose every game, but as long as the players put in enough effort, I would be happy
