| Once again all our hopes and dreams are shattered. Out of the cup which we so loved winning in 2005. No chance of Wembley which we enjoyed playing at in 2008 and no chance in the league.
14000 loyal fans. The best off field business in the league and yet on the field we are still soo far behind the big boys its now very embarrassing. We can't develop a scrum half. We can't even buy a decent sh who can remain fit. Head, Long etc etc blah blah.
I will not be stating I won't be going again as thats futile as I know I will its in the blood and I can't just walk away, but the loyalty is now stretched to breaking point. I was one who foolishly thought a top four finish was there for the taking this year. But our backs are simply not at the races and whilst I rate our forwards they simply as a unit are not good enough.
We are stuck with the coach ( which I was very disappointed about ) and that great Aussie coach ( other peoples words not mine) who came accross to assist Agar is hardly doing us much good.
I am hurting and even living down here in Sussex I will get it in the neck on Monday as I was soo looking forward to this match and made sure everyone I work with knew about it. Its a dark dark day in our history again and we can't say its down to injuries. I know we have picked some up but its becoming laughable now.
What are we to do?

| Good post. Really struggling to find any positives today. The club has been absolutely full of it in the press this week about us going all the way - look total idiots now. Does Rule actually believe this?
We're an A grade club in every aspect bar on the pitch.

Nothing we can do except grin and bear it.
TBH I never expected anything better than a 6th-8th place finish even without injury problems in the halves and losing Raynor. And I quite expected us to lose today. We're playing worse than I thought though.

I think the PR bubble has well and truly burst now. Out the cup, and, as the league table shows, in a group with Wakey and Rovers chasing 7th and 8th (Leeds will undoubtedly move ahead of us shortly). Coach is clueless and no really dangerous outside backs that can compete with the top teams at this level. The pack was disappointing today against Leeds missing Eastwood, Lauititi and a patched up Peacock. Long and Berro out for long stretches. I'd be surprised if we made the 8 TBH.

Our not very dangerous outside backs have just scored the thick end of 50 points against Leeds in two games. Give them some decent ball and they are an attacking threat.
Our pack today was poor and our defence across the park inadequate. That's what cost us - in just about every game we've lost.

| I am sure as far as today is concerned we would all have been split as to who we thought would win. But its the manner of the defeat that really hurts. Ok we led for aa few minutes but the writting was on the wall. I know it was Leeds but in reality we should be able to put up a challenge and we have failed to do so two weeks running.
We could argue about endevour but that wins you nowt and I expect us to be challenging the big boys and I can't see that happening for years as things stand.
Positives are Manu and Tansey to a lesser degree but in all honesty we had 17 players who looked like strangers and certainly did not look up for it. When you think of the foggy day in Feb when we walloped Saints questions need to be asked and the answers need to be found very quickly.
Forget how many points we scored in two games. How many were scored when the game was up?
