Great bunch of lads comming weekly now. Its just for fun so fitness levels are a tad varied. Gotta say though.......I lasted the full hour last night and felt like I could've don a bit more too I lasted longer than Wayne Jackson (ex KR) scored two trys and got flattened by Chico Jackson (its touch Chico ffs LOL). That was actually an honour though. Kev Flanagan (Flash's lad) always has a good run out too....He has his dads flair...no question

I could quite fancy it myself, but at you already have 18-20 and 4 or 5 more have expressed an interest, it might already be getting to saturation point. No point in loads turning up and there being no room to move.

like Chewie says, would cross that if it came to it but could get a bigger pitch (currently only usea half pitch)

And there will always be people missing each week with work etc

It's a pity that I live away from Hull, I would have been well up for this. Though I haven't really played much rugby in the past, mainly in PE, and I missed a lot of that due to broken bones (I'm well known for my lack of spacial awareness).

I know it's open to pretty much all ages (16+ for safety, I presume), but what's the average age that you have going?

Just turn up......You'll know who we are straight away.......We have the oval ball. and at eight o'clock....we can be seen pushing the soccer goals to one side!!

To be honest.....(and it shows)....I've just turned 44, and havent played rugby since school.....i've found it so easy to get involved. Mainly cos it isnt full contact ( )....and to see the varying skill levels is quite interesting, especially with the ex-pro's still trying to bust a tackle LOL..... I was a bit 'worried' about showing myself up.....but theres no-one there that is gonna get at ya for dropping a high ball or knocking on......as I said...its just a bit of fun away from the telly on a Wednesday evening!!!!

you may be interested in putting a team into my gala day in july then,im doing the touch rugby again seen as it was a great success last year,will be played along side amateur games at different age groups,more info to follow in the next few weeks.
