I was hoping to post on the Bradford match thread but yet again it's been locked due to the SAME posters . Please mods just ban them so we can continue to debate and it's spoiling it for the rest of us .
Thanks

Poor result but tbh I'm not exactly shocked by it as I/we have known our flaws as a team for a while now which I really believe have been addressed in signing proper half backs in Sneyd and pryce that will be the difference in a top 8 finish or not . Only three games left and then an end to this season that can't come quick enough and then roll 2015

Hopefully we can discuss the game here sensibly, without trolling and personal abuse.

That was pretty disappointing, by any measure. A few bright performances, most notably from the bench, but lack of cohesion, failure to capitalise on having the wind behind us first half, and beaten at speed of PTB for all but the last 20 minutes were not good enough. Flat again in attack, lack of runners.

Felt like a perfect representation of the whole season. Lack of mental steel and brains - I was calling for a drop goal at 12-0, had a feeling it would be close. OK, wouldn't have mattered but the sort of thing we never look like entertaining.

A pretty worrying effort in a game we should have been striving to deliver in. Compounded by Ellis saying we've "lacked real men", and Radford straight into chop and change mode post match. Blimey.

Hopefully only people with a mental age greater than 8 will contribute Mrs B.

Your analysis is perfect and there are major questions to answer over this poor defeat.

All we want is pride, and that appeared to be lacking, can only hope for better next season.

I didn't hear Ellis but from Radford's comments both in the press conference and on Humberside it's clear that the players haven't delivered what they promised to deliver during preparation. The comments echoed some of the stuff Gentle came out with.

There is clearly an issue with some (many?) of the players in our squad that successive coaches have found impossible to deal with. And at the moment there is no sign that Radford will be any more successful. In fact he sounded almost broken.

By the way it's a shame Hessle Roader's post was locked. He/she was spot on.

Not much to be positive about, though Westerman looked dangerous and Sa good for his brief appearance. Had the two half a we have signed played we would have that game won by 20 mins. Radford got his team wrong IMO, whiting should not play in the centres and Cunningham should be on the bench.

I think with our recruitment we will progress next season, but not sure it will be enough, unless we change our coaching structure, hopefully the rumours about Monghan are correct.

This performance, in what in the scheme of things was an insignificant match (with the season realistically over weeks ago) is IMO hugely significant and not something to be swept under the carpet.

Where is our attacking structure?
Why fanny about with the halves mid-game?
Why does our energy/urgency ebb and flow so dramatically in a match?
Why do we wait until the last quarter to PTB at pace?
How many offloads did we allow today?

The fact that Radford is again playing the slate the players game is not acceptable. Drop who you like, love, but it's shifting the deck chairs on a Titanic with your name on, sailing right into a derby hammering iceberg.

Doesn't exactly inspire confidence does he? Sounded very much like Agar circa 2009.
