That and he got a serious hamstring injury that was very nasty by all accounts, you certainly can`t blame the club for wanting to cover that in the contract, if the contract hasn`t been signed surely the club is well within their rights to do that. |

Offered a new contract under Gentle, but he doesn't sign it, change in coach who (rightly) doesn't want to sign him on an extended deal.
Unless he signed the contract like we found out with Cooke he wont have a leg to stand on.
Don't think Hull have done anything wrong, he should be looking to get fit and get a contract with another club.

Sounds like he's taken advice from someone who believes he has a case. Anyone know a no win, no fee lawyer who might be advising him?

Seems, from that report, that the contract was offered, neither party has actually signed, McD agreed it, thinks FC agreed it and then a new coach decided not to follow it up.
As a renowned barrack room lawyer, I don't think he has a leg to stand on. Offering a contract and signing a contract are two different things. If only one party agrees, that can't be binding, surely?
