I really wish the best of luck, certainly improved Hull, but has something lacking to be a top first team coach, maybe he is one of those coaches who is better as an assistant.

Really pleased for him and all his family. Good Luck Peter will follow the Eels with more interest next year. New coach and assistant - sounds familiar.

| Good luck Peter, Hope you make a go of it.
A nice guy, but they don't make good RL coaches. Wane, Millward, Anderson, McDermott do.

| really pleased for him and his family. it may not have worked out at Hull but you cant knock his commitment or knowledge to bring on younger players. he may not be a hard task master but as an assistant he must rank as one of the best.
good luck Peter i'll be following the eels progress next season.

| Best of luck to peter gentle esquire, personally i think he will turn out a top coach in oz. the mentality and ethics of the players and game as a whole will aid and not affect his style of coaching.

| Enjoyed his time with us. Thought the way the players acted with him was harsh but overall he's done more for the club in such a short space of time then any of the others.

No. He hasn't. An embarrassing nilling in a CC final and a total hammering in the playoffs did enough to really kill off our hopes of 10,000 passes this year. You could argue he's set us back 3 years.

He led us to Wembley and had us actually believing for three weeks.
Further more I suspect much of what Radders is implementing now was started by Peter. I know for a fact that he did not want warm weather pre season. He also wanted ALL players back by Nov 4th. Little things which are now being portrayed as Radders doing were implemented by Peter.
The play off loss was player power IMO simple as.
For the record I wanted him out after the Good Friday loss but to attribute things down to him and him alone when many good things have happened in the past two years is poor form.
If things have set us back then there are one or two at the club who have contributed to that who should be thankful they are still in a job.
