This lad has been kept out all season by one excellent Mr Lineham, however a touch of fortune came about his way when Tom got injured. It was a chance to step in and show us what he could do, well yesterday he might as well have stayed at home and done a bit of gardening, or painted the fence because he was as much use as a chocolate fire guard. I don't like having a go at players, yesterday plenty of them made errors, but in the grand scale of things they all put in a shift in defence. Well I've watched the game again and Mr Crookes touches the ball five times all game, one of these times he needn't have bothered cause he cost us a scrum in our own twenty. Not once did he step into dummy half and run the ball out, to relieve some pressure off our overworked forwards, his opposite winger, Briscoe did this continuously throughout the game. This was his chance, even though the game went to pot, he showed little enthusiasm that he want to bleed black and white like most of the players. When Briscoe goes next year we are in trouble unless we clone Lineham and he plays both wings

I really do hope he isn't seen as briscoes replacement. Apart from the kick by Briscoe I thought he played pretty well and will miss him next year

started of the season well, but since he has come back has been poor, doesnt look fully fit to me, hamstring been taped up last few matches and doesnt look to be on full throttle when running, hopefully a good off season might do the trick, but he does have to lift his game

as said, i really do hope he is not the replacement for Briscoe!!

we need a better quality winger, if we are to try and compete up there with the best...he just aint good enough

I saw him take the ball from dummy half and as first receiver on several occasions. The bloke didn't get a reasonable pass all day, he held someone up over the line due to Crooks spilled ball.

You are having a go at a player you don't like rather than for his performances.

It was Ben Crooks who held him up and I watched it again and he didn't once run from dummy half, took one pass from dummy receiver. I'm not picking on the bloke, just saying Lineham constantly drives the ball from dummy half and relieves pressure off the forwards

No it wasn't it was Crooks who missed the ball completely.
