Life is a game of inches, so is football. Because in either game - life or football - the margin for error is so small. I mean, one half a step too late or too early and you don't quite make it. One half second too slow, too fast and you don't quite catch it. The inches we need are everywhere around us. On this team we fight for that inch. On this team we tear ourselves and everyone else around us to pieces for that inch. We claw with our fingernails for that inch. Because we know when add up all those inches, that's gonna make the difference between winning and losing! Between living and dying! You've got to look at the guy next to you, look into his eyes. Now I think ya going to see a guy who will go that inch with you. Your gonna see a guy who will sacrifice himself for this team, because he knows when it comes down to it your gonna do the same for him. That's a team, gentlemen. TONY D'AMATO: |

| I try to put on a brave face, but the truth is even now on Monday afternoon I'm still gutted!
I think yesterday the hangover from an all day session on Saturday in the sun was more overpowering than the defeat, but now that's gone and having watch the game again last night, it has really started to sink in.
It doesn't help working alongside 2 very happy and noisy KR fans, I'm not sure I can make it through the day.
I have asked them if they have seen the movie 'Falling Down' with Michael Douglas....they haven't.
How does everyone else get over the numbeness, this one seems to irk more than others! (But I'm not going to mention that try.....)

| Hardcore porn. and I try not to dwell on it and look forward to sunday as I believe this team under Gentle can play entertaining rugby and the next time we meet the Dobbins (which isn't far away) we'll beat them because over the two games so far we've been far the better team.

| Must admit the hardcore porn option I havent tried yet, but if your saying it works I'm open to ideas!
One thing that does give me hope is Saints are there for the taking on Sunday, although we can expect a reaction from them too as they will be hurting after that mauling.
Standee your plan of beer would normally be my first choice but I think levels may still be a bit high from Saturday so not going to go down that route I don't think, but then by the time I get home the pull of the garden in the sun and a cold one may be too much to ignore!
Slightly off topic but sounds like Martin injury is a real bad one. Never like to see any serious injury but it does open the door for Crooks now (who with hindsight perhaps should have played anyway).
Starting to feel a little better, my KR workmates may still get out alive yet!

| Get over it and bash on, as much as I love FC there are more important things.
Look forward to next weeks game against Saints. Should be a cracker.
Watching a derby defeat back isn't going to do your derby blues any favours.

look on the bright side we were poor, they only just pipped us and needed the refs help to do so. We will beat them next time round i'm confident.

| Got over the loss and the game and the fact that it was Rovers beating us, still struggling with Ganson though. As for the hardcore porn bit be careful medical reasearch indicates that it can cause blindness, they say its best to do it infrequently and wear glasses.

| We're just more upset that its that mob who beat us. As others say its 2 points and nothing more. I'm confident we'll still finish above them at the end of the season. Lets move on!

There may well be a link there.

| I have no cure. It's a case of waiting for the wounds to heal and then hiding the scars. Hateful episode in the life of a Hull Fc fan. Everytime I see Ganson I'll spit venom at the self centred egotistical cocksure smarmy son of a one eyed syphilis riddled whore.
Other than that Guinness.
