Get in Willie!

Strange there's no Tansey.

Not really - he needs to cut down on his errors before being considered for international rugby.

True. Yeah, thought there's been plenty of evidence to include Tickle and Houghton.

I suppose it's not the "official" squad though and the door will be left open to others icon_razz.gifRAY:

Would you say that 21-year-old Leeds full-back Ben Jones-Bishop (who is currently on loan at Harlequins) deserves a place in front of Tansey then Amadeo?

Apparently Whiting was meant to be included in this training squad, talk about getting injured at completely the wrong time.

I don't know, to be honest. I haven't seen enough of him to give an informed opinion. I've seen loads of Tansey this season, and I don't feel the defensive aspects of his game are quite up to international standard yet. He's great in attack, but I think kickers of the quality of Lockyer and Thurston would cause him awful problems.

Very surprised that Houghton is not in the squad. Current form dictates that he must be close. Shows the lack of quality in the centres in England if Kirk is in. Certainly don't agree with Willie, but so long as its allowed then good luck to him.
Well done the trio called up.

Agree with the Manu thing. I look forward to seeing him in an England shirt (if it comes to pass) but I think the rules in RL regarding Nationality are nothing short of a joke.

How many times have we seen players representing their country at senior level only to jump ship to "a (potentially) more powerful" team at the earliest opportunity.

Not Willie's or Faasavalu's (sp) fault, it's the people running the game.

Good luck to all anyway.

Ben Jones Bishop has been putting in some good performances of late for Quins. Leeds rate him very highly.
