he'd gone back on the wakey deal after their recent financial wobbles, I wonder if we've paid any compensation to them but I wouldn't imagine so as the media made out it was Tuson who got him self out of the deal not us.

He had but they have already sold 2 players under contract, this being the third, don't know if there was a fee or because he hasn't played for Wakefield that hes been allowed to move with out cost?

Good addition, big upgrade on Tickle IMO. Gives us someone with a bit of niggle.

Good signing of a player who before he signed for wakey turned down a 2year deal to stay Wigan which says a lot to me . He's coming from great stock and culture of professionals and winners

As said on the other thread, not convinced we needed another defensive forward.

As poor as tickle was last season, he is a much better attacking forward than Tuson.

Anyway he has signed and I hope he proves me wrong.

Think under-rated player and could be really good signing

How was Tickle a better attacking forward? Granted he was put on crash balls near the line, but had little else to his game. He had no offload or passing ability at all and gave penalties away (usually for laying on). Not saying Tuson is SBW like, far from it, just don't get how you can say he's a [imuch[/i better attacker. Tickle's major strength was the power in his tackles.
