Would agree with that, Lineham put in a lot more work than Crookes (and Briscoe for that matter) and deserves his chance.

Agree that lineham should play, we looked more aggressive when pitts came on so would start with him as was disappointed with Westy.

Agree with this team, think Lineham played better today

Agree with the Lineham change and I also prefer to see Westy out wider.

If Whiting is fit to play then I would put him in the 17 in place of Galea to be honest. Can't say I've been that impressed with him so far although I admit it's very early days but he just doesn't look fit.
Seymour for me proved he should be in the 17 as he created most of our decent attacking play today.

Thats assuming Watts and Tickle arent fit. Seymour n Holdsworth looked like a natural pairing today, and Seymour has certainly outshone Heremaia at 7 imo. Last season we didnt have the luxury of alternating Houghton n Heremaia, this season we do, and we've got a very capable halfback to partner Holdsworth = no brainer. Crookes hasnt really done anything wrong but we all know what Lineham is capable of, he carries the ball as well as anyone else on the field, gets a quick PTB and has pace to burn. The only reason I'd have Arundel over Crooks is due to composure more than anything, and I think Chris Green deserves his spot in the 17 based on the pre season games, he's impressed me more than anyone. The rest pretty much speaks for itself.

I know many have Houghton starting at 9, and Heremaia on the bench, but wouldn’t we be better starting with Heremaia, and having Houghton on the bench?

If Holdsworth or Seymour get a bad knock, then Heremaia can then cover, leaving Houghton to do the remaining minutes at 9.
