| James Smailes tweeted
"@James_Smailes: Daniel Holdsworth remains out indefinitely. No answer to that. Could be a week, could be a month or more. Seymour indefinite too"
A lot of fans today were unsure on holdsworth even though he was there
I for one feel there is something fishy going on that were not hearing about. Why aren't we getting the full story?
Expecting something on Seymour working the next week or so

Because it relates to someone's medical condition we have no right to the full story. In the same way that we have no right to yours. DJ isn't public property because he plays professional sport.
The club are giving us as much as they feel we're entitled to, and presumably as much as DJ wants to reveal. If the club, the player and doctors feel that he shouldn't play, thats it. What's the problem?
What's your fishy theory too?

| Hmmm I know what you mean.
I've heard that he's trying to work something out to leave and jet back to Oz as his wife is unsettled. Similar McKinnon story. If that is the case I hope it's gets sorted. Same with his injury. Personal health and family come first.

the big difference to McKinnon is that he's been here 3 years already. Of course anyone can get homesick at any time, but you'd have thought that after 3 years in rainy Manchester playing for a struggling Salford he'd have got used to the UK by now.

And he lives in Swanland. If you can do years in Salford, bit odd that Swanland would drive you to going home. Would he get an NRL gig?

| Holdsworth is putting his hand up to play now, but the club aren't letting him. The medical advice the club have been given is for Holdsworth to rest, if the club play him against medical advice and he suffers a more damaging head injury (brain damage) the club would be in a lot of trouble.

| With regards to Holdsworth I suspect that the rumours about him being homesick are just that. His head injury is a worry though as he's going to be a crucial player for us (as we've already seen in his games so far). I want to see him back playing as soon as possible but not if it risks causing him further damage. His health has to come first.

| I remember as some others no doubt do, Gary Kemble in 85. Shocking head strike against Cas in semi final of CC and still wasn't right come the final against Wigan. Possibly costing us the game.
If we have any neurosurgeons on here please enlighten us. Failing that I would suspect whatever you are all hearing is idle gossip at best.

Idle gossip indeed by people who wont/cant accept that the guy is injured. He goes with the team to all matches (including to London with his wife) If I were you DJ I would go and sun my self in the Canaries - now that would get all the doomsters moaning.

Spotted him helping out during the warm up too, got my hopes up that he was playing but didn't take long to realize he wasn't.
