Sundays have not boosted the attendances as hoped, but could be down to economy, weather etc. A decline in away fans but that could be this seasons pricing policy for the North Stand

Fridays are better IMO, under the lights seems to create a better atmosphere, means you get the weekend free to spend with the family, few bevvies after the game without having to worry about work (won't apply to all of course). Accept that it may affect some younger fans, but it's not a school day afterwards and still seems to be a similar amount of kids when we've been on Sky.

We had a poll under Kath & Rule which no one seemed to know had happened which led to the switch to Fridays. Then under AP a decision was made to switch to Sundays before most of us had a chance to vote.

Don't think a mix of both would work but I suppose dependent on how often you are on Sky we sort of get that anyway at the moment.

I have no idea whether anyone at the club would take any notice of what is posted on here but would be interesting to gauge opinion with season passes due on sale in two months time.

No doubt the club has already decided - AP hinted that FC Voices had been consulted. Maybe someone can confirm.

I'd like to see a mix. Sundays early in the season and Friday nights after Easter.

The club cannot win on this one, though.

Torn really, I take my kids so Sundays are better for them when they're not tired from school. But I personally prefer Friday nights.

Another thing to throw into the mix the top 3 supported teams Wigan, Leeds & Saints (think Saints are ahead of us and Wire since stadium move) all play on a Friday night.

Fridays seemed to have a better atmosphere in the ground. They were also much more convenient for me - they freed up your weekend and were a good way to kick it off.

This season is the first time since I was 14 that I haven't gotten a season ticket. This is due to me, and the people I go with, having pre-existing commitments on weekends meaning that it was not worthwhile in purchasing a season ticket. Instead I have been going to the games that haven't conflicted with my/my friend's schedule or to any away games that haven't been on a Sunday.

I never really understood all the complaints about Friday nights. I live abour 30-35 minutes from Hull. I've been at college and not getting home until around 5pm-ish or just after, and I could make then no problem.

It won't affect me for next season as I'm starting Uni this year and will be living away, so I'll only be able to attend the games towards the back end of the season (and our playoff push icon_wink.gif ) and I'll be subscribing to FC-Live instead. However, if I had have still been living around here then I would have preferred Fridays (and wouldn't have gotten a Season Ticket if it was Sundays).

I prefer Friday nights rather then sundays, on Friday nights you seem to get better atmosphere and the sundays has not made the crowd go up.

We weren't consulted, just asked and we answered on behalf of the fans you will never please all of the people all of the time so at the end of the day it really is down to Adam as to what he wants to do, Voices didn't sway any decision because we can't, half of you want Fridays and half of you want Sundays icon_wink.gif

Friday nights for me. Absolutely no question. As people have said, the atmosphere is one hundred times better than on a Sunday.

Sundays, no brainer to be honest. The downturn would have been worse if we had been playing on a Friday in my honest opinion..
