League Express had a feature last week on players leaving Super League. They had Motu down as "retired" however I don't think he has officially announced that.

i got the impression injuries had caught up with him and hull are helping him with his rehab. alsoi heard that if he was to play again he would love to play for us. i'd hate to see him hang up his boots though, quality player all round

We owe Motu a great debt. He always put his body on the line, played through the pain barrier and we shoved him to fullback (A NZ capped number 9, remember), the most demanding of positions.
Hope he gets back to his best and earns another Super League contract.
