about 5 minutes into the game a steward tried to send people with unreserved (ie cheaper) tickets into the 2 reserved seats next to me in East Stand.

Apparently the poor darlings had arrived too late to find seats together in unreserved so thought they had the right to upgrade their seats to the two seats that my mates have bought and paid for (but weren't using because they are on holiday).

The steward told me that "all the seats are the same price" and that it didn't matter.

Sorry, but I think it does ! Perhaps I should have saved myself some money like that eh

its annoying, we often get fans in the east reserved coming asking if they can sit in the seats near us, we always say they are taken!

Same in the West. I pay for padded seat and others with unreserved tickets think they can sit anywhere. As usual no stewards to be seen.

why is it petty? TLJ is right we pay more in the east reserved, if these fans do it for every home game it makes a difference! plenty of seats availble together in the unreserved sections in all stands on friday night!

Looking across from West Stand there were plenty of seats together in the South and North East corners. People who want the luxury of a more central seat need to fork out for a pass. If they can't afford that, fair enough, the view is pretty good from any seat in the stadium

The turnstiles scenario was a farce on friday,...saying that though, the amount of people who cant scan a barcode is ridiculous. ?

The problem is the barcode wasn't scanning on the print at home tickets
