Looks like this is how we'll go into 2014 (probably got some dates/ages wrong, been on the Prosecco tonight). Obviously some big risk players in there - Feka, Feleti, Biggs etc, but should be some surprises. Hooker's an interesting one, with Azza on a 1 year, time for Cunningham to impress in training, like the look of him in the little I've seen. Certainly a younger squad than some of recent years - excluding the Tyson Wilsons and Reece Dean, still only 24.

Biggest gaps for me are a ball-busting prop and a big experienced centre.

I really couldn't agree more. We don't have any forwards that will worry teams coming to the KC.

I don't rate the dobbins squad very highly at all but they certainly do have that mongrel that will make away teams worry about rushing to Craven Palace.

I couldn't care less how "nasty" the pack is as long as they make yards when we have the ball and stop the other team making yards when we don't. Wigan don't have any forwards with any real mongrel (Dudson perhaps) but are comfortably the best pack in Superleague.

Besides, the game is too soft these days for teams to require an enforcer type.

Wigan's pack is just very very well drilled and effective. They don't have an enforcer type forward but I bet they'd love to have another Kelvin Skerret in there.

Our pack also lacks a bite but is the exact opposite of Wigan's well drilled set of forwards.

How do you know what they will lack? Radfords field of expertise is the forwards and he was a nasty piece of work as a junior and could certainly look after himself.

We've got Paea and Feka. How "nasty" do you want then to be?

Some good young players in that squad. Looking forward to seeing the progress.

Shows how highly rated dean and Tyson wilson are to be given a squad number at only 16.

Suprised Jansin Turgett hasn't got a squad number.

I quite like the look of the squad, going in the right direction, will help having another half.

Biggest gap we ave is in the backrow, all of our backrowers are all simalar, no Willie Manu type player.

Other teams didn't have a Manu type player but didn't do them any harm by what raiders has said,he wants WEsterman to be a ball playing 13 so should see our pack becoming a lot better

My worry is with Lineham and Crooks apparently being split up. Think that would be a mistake TBH. Otherwise no real surprises and only one disappointment.

Yeah - that left edge could be in a bit of a state of flux early on. Although I don't see the point of naming Lineham there instead of Crookes if that isn't going to be the way we start.
