| Big game coming up next weekend. In the hypothetical scenario we win at Salford we'd go 5th. And if Huddersfield beat Wakefield we'd be Top 4? Clearly all other permutations are more likely, but still..
A long turnaround, so hopefully one or more of Shaul, Connor, Naulago, Talanoa, Bowden or Green could be back. Anyone heard injury status on these?

| The positive spin is sickly.
Even with those players back it would not detract from how bad we are.
We are not the only team with injuries but you'd think we were reading that.

| Would you rather wallow in misery and recrimination or actually look forward to the next game?
Leaving aside whatever issues we have as a club.
Salford don't look great at the moment so anything could happen in this game. You'd hope we come back with a response from that horror show so a win wouldn't surprise me.
We're getting into the predicted time frame for Bowden, Green and Connor so hopefully some welcome reinforcement.

I was thinking that, although Bowden and Green were due back end of March so whether they are being saved for a difficult Easter period I don't know. Biggest miss amongst those injured for me is Shaul. Getting him back given his great form early doors would also allow Griffin to revert to centre so a double benefit. Let's hope we can regather and get a few troops back. Catalans were hammered today as well so the next couple are important.

| Both games look winnable with the available players provided we actually apply ourselves. Any returnees however are very welcome.
I agree about Shaul, fullback and hooker are the positions where we don't really have any proven cover.
Our attitude is by far the most important factor however.

Needs sorting. I forgot Ellis by the way. Shaul for Miloudi, Griffin for Thompson at centre, Ellis on the bench would help. Still a very tough game though, Salford aren't 5th for nothing.

And the constant negative spin by the same few posters in thread after thread is also nauseating.

| Was Shaul only out for a mandatory seven days? Hopefully he's back then.
I think Connor was quoted at six weeks out amd next Sunday marks five weeks since his injury so possibly he could be ready if the recovery has gone well.
I was under the impression that Ellis was only missing for the Warrington game.
Bowden and Green must be due back in the next week or two - but is it too much of a risk bringing them both back after long layoffs and given the reduced interchange rule?

Thats rubbish - not long ago there was about five posters who felt enough was enough ref Radford, that figure increased dramatically after fridays game with many more finally realising hes took us as far as he can. Id say that more than 50% of fans on here think its time for change and if you amplify that to the whole fan base it means a lot of fans are now unhappy with the coaching and direction of the club. So im sorry if people are being a bit negative but the team arnt giving us a lot to be positive about atm are they?

I don't know on Shaul, but with him missing a couple earlier for concussion I imagine we'll be cautious. Ellis should be back I think.

We already have a thread about Radford Seb, it's here

Shall we use this one to discuss next week's game rather than repeat the same narrative across multiple threads? Keeps it a bit more orderly.

Is Hodgson the new Griffin, or is it all about pace?: |
|
| I can't see Shaul playing, his last but one concussion was the 2nd in a year, so he had to go thru' even more stringent head tests for that one.
Still, 5 Challenge Cup winners out of 6 might return next week.
