Every single player played their part in creating history yesterday, and we can't fault any of them for giving us the greatest possible day. And while deservedly, people like Houghton and Snead will take most of the media spotlight, I wanna give big raps to Steve Michaels for his efforts yesterday.

I don't think Talanoa had to field a kick all game. Everything went to Michaels and he came up trumps time and time again with some brilliant catches under pressure. Maybe Wire assumed he would freeze under the pressure but he handled the occasion brilliant, and with some strong kick returns in there too.
I've liked him throughout the full season. A strong defender and always reliable in everything he does.
I understand he may not be with us next year, but I can't believe no other team has come in for him. He has proved on the big stage he is a good addition to any team.
So should he leave, I'm delighted to see him leaving with a Challenge Cup Final winners medal.

And I bet he had a right party last night!!!

Both wingers were great out of dummy half on the ball returns. Can only recall Tuli needing to get one bomb under pressure, think Wire were avoiding giving him or Yeamo a 1 on 1 with King.

Massive game yesterday from Stevie Michaels. He ran the ball back from deep so many times (as he has done all season) that it was like having an extra forward out there.

If he is leaving us at the end of the year, then we will be sad to see him go, but he will depart with our best wishes for his future.

Whatever he does in the rest of his career, he will always be one of the immortal 17 who delivered a long cherished dream to the faithful (and for supplying us with one of my favourite chants of recent years!).

He was the one that held up the wire player over the line in the first half with his tremndous tackle. Yes two other hull players came in afterwards but without his solid hit and continuance afterwards it would have been a try.
Very much under appreciated by too many fans and will be a big loss.
If Fonua is to revert back to the wing he needs to shift some timber.

I think he is the weakest player in the hull team. If he wasn't an Aussie he wouldn't make the team. His attack is distinctly average. Glad you won though, I can't believe how nervous I was for the last 5 minutes.

You wouldn't say that if you watched him every week. Great player.

Great player with a great attitude. I really hope we find a way to keep him at the club.

Played with passion and pride yesterday as he has done all season.
For me he is our best all round winger.
Sorry to see him go as he's definitely worth another contract in my eyes.
If it's not meant to be I hope he put himself in the shop window yesterday.
I would not begrudge him a full time contract at any SL team even Rovers.
He's earnt our utmost respect and will always receive a warm welcome from me.

100% player every week and he clearly loves the club. It'll be a real shame to see him leave.

I would love for him to stay at the club. Shows pride and commitment everytime he plays.

Him and Fonua seem to be geling well together

I might be in the minority but I think it's the correct decision not to keep him, think Naughton has potential to be a better winger, and if he doesn't get any game time we could lose him.

He has been a really good signing who has consistently played well and I hope he gets another contract in SL or s good deal back home.
