Our 'new' attack style is great to see..

But do fans think, our execution could be a lot better??.. ie passing speed,accuracy, timing of runs, support play could be improved.

Lee Radford stated "When we get the ball we have to be more clinical. That isn't something that is fixed up on Monday's training session or Tuesday's, that's something we have to get better at mentally as a group"

Do fans think, we need an attack coach, now or start of next season,with Radford still at the helm?

Judging by his comments, he believes it cannot be fixed by the current coaching team at training, but by mentality.

The attacking plays and structures seem fine. The problem is the execution, which is down to the players, not the coaching staff.

I don't think that [iat the moment [/iwe need to bring in an attacking coach who might change the plays and structures.

What's needed is for the players to execute them better. It may be a question of mentality but I also don't see why it can't be improved by practice on the training ground.

Still a long way to go , We still look lost at times when were in the oppositions 20 and we need to see a lot more from our halves more consistently as our forwards are on the front foot a lot more now . Our defence is keeping us in games , Our attack has to start winning those games .

we made opportunities in our last two games and never took them,its individual poor decision making/errors what cost us ,like Sneyd failing to pass to Micheals when he was clear and Sa dropping the ball with a clear run...how is that Radfords fault ?? come on get real

That's it. it's decision making, keeping concentration when knackered, attitude & desire to provide the option or dummy play, things like that is what Radford's talking about.

we had enough chances to win Catalans and leeds. but we didn't purely because of the execution. players no making the right pass. players not taking the ball, players in general making the wrong decision.
im not radders biggest fan but you cant blame that on him.
just needs to click for us. for some teams, it works no matter what they do, other teams have to try hard to make it work...we are the latter

Things were going well until it was announced Lineham was leaving. Now i'm not suggesting that it's the sole reason, but he hasn't played since and I know the club weren't happy with having to announce it mid-season. Maybe words have been said and it's unsettled the group a little?

Same old record, we play poor, it's the players or the fans, play well and it's down to Radford...
How we play, how we execute, the attitude of the players is more down to the coach than the players themselves.

All those things above are down to the coach, it's down to him to ensure that players don't waiver from the plan, it's his job to drill the players in such a way that everything they do with regard to execution is 2nd nature even when under duress & tiredness (a sports psychologist is massively important in this aspect), it's the coaches job to recognise when a player is knackered & needs subbing BEFORE he makes that critical error, it's the coaches job to adjust how the team play on the fly.

Yes the players have to do things on the pitch but saying that if the players aren't executing, aren't putting in the effort, aren't backing up, making incorrect decision etc is just down to the players isn't accurate.

What the coach does, how he prepares the players both individually & as a team, how he instills confidence, mental fortitude, how to address every aspect of playing RL at the highest level is the biggest part of what happens on the field.
We have a decent squad/team, we've shown in small spurts how good we can be, and there have being some really good performances, however it's all so on and off even through our decent run we had some patchy performances/wins, atm it's being more off than on hence 8th position, that is down to the coach both the good and the bad.

Things have certainly gone downhill in the last couple of games, both of which were very winnable against an injury hit les cats and an out of sorts leeds. What has happened to the rampaging pack that steamrollered rovers and widnes, what has happened to the aggressive defence we saw in those games? What has happened to the side who stuck 40 points on cas? Seems we've regressed to our early season habits

Given Lineham was announced as leaving and then coincidentally 'dropped' along with the murmerings regarding Shaul (and we know what the head coach truly thinks of him already) I don't think it's that surprising there's being a dip.
IMO our coaching personnel isn't that good/isn't good enough to take this team further, if we break into the top 6 by end of the season it'll be a miracle but would at least prove that we have stood still compared to 2012/13 and not gone backwards.
