| Yes Turner shouldnt have shot out the line and yes we got screwed over by a quarterback thrown touchdown but fook me Sharp getting outpaced by Turtle Hodgson WTF. Your either a well bulked up player on the wing who bulldozers over or your a skinny guy who has pace, Sharp has neither!
Yes I know he has improved and gives 100% etc but Im sorry if your a winger and your getting beat in a footrace by a guy as slow as that then its bloody embarrasing!

All men are created equal, some work harder in preseason.

| Sharp has ridiculously deceiving upper body strength and he is fast, he had to turn round to chase and it was the 79th minute of an intense derby, He also did a lot more work down the middle in attack.

Your saying that Hodgson didnt do nothing in the game then? Sharp challenged hodgson to a foot race instead of hitting him full on when he had the chance he decided to give him the outside and hodgson just went straight past him. I agree sharp works hard but to me wingers have to have pace and he doesnt have any and he proved it yet again.

This, plus he wasn't far from an ankle tap (from the angle I was at) that could have resulted in no try and us winning. Yes its disappointing, but I think it was more Blacklock's fault than Sharp's

| Sharp is very physical throughout games, he gets very tired because of this as he obviously lacks size, despite his strength there's no substitute for a bit of mass

Sharp shouldnt have had to put in a pathetic ankle tap he should have been able to put him into touch if he had a yard of pace.

HOW on earth do you get NILLED at Wembley ?
When your coach isn't a winner at heart and Gentle is not a winner at heart .
We were a pub team
I coached for a long time and we won 95% of games because winning is a mental state driven by a desire to CRUSH an opposition. Did FC look as though they wanted to Crush Wigan and strangle them until they screamed ? NO
RL is a tough tough game and Maylord She-dong you have no clue
In fact don't ever ever reply to any of my posts again:37721.jpg |

| thought sharp had a good game going foward, looked evasive and carried well. hodgson is obviously not as slow as you lot think, very good finisher.

| Sharp was done one on one by footwork initially which put him half a pace behind and slightly off balance as he started his chase. I was disappointed he didn't have enough pace to catch Hodgson but not massively surprised. He doesn't possess out and out pace. Played well bringing the ball away during the previous 79 mins.

| Yes sharp had a good game apart from that and Hodgson isnt bloody fast please dont give me that all im saying is that Sharp should never have been beaten for pace. I just like my wingers to have pace or strong to me sharp is neither. Saying all that what the heck was Turner doing!

That is the issue, what was Turner doing ?? He was fortunate not to have been caught out like that earlier as he came flying out of the line a few times, missed his man and the cover had to make his missed tackle. I'm not blaming the lad for the loss, there's no way we should have surrendered a lead like we had, but I'd like to know what would have happened should we have kept shape when defending the last scrum, tackle made, game won.
For the record I thought Sharp got through a ton of work and was a handful throughout. I don't think there'd have been many in the game who could have made that tackle from the position Sharp was in, with Hodgeson hitting that ball at full(ish) tilt.

Really? I would have backed anyone with a yard of pace to take out Hodgson. Also was wondering where the fullback was also? as seymour slowed it down enough for the fullback to be coming across im guessing like me id expect the winger to take hodgson out.
