That was rubbish. Did we even have one attacking set in their 20 in the 2nd half?

I know we have a few injuries but there was a serious lack of quality throughout the team tonight.

I know it's a bit cliched, but I doubt we'd have beaten anyone but the worst team in SL tonight and if they'd had a bit more composure we wouldn't. Not very confident at all for the coming matches now

Even with long on the pitch we looked sh!!t, but 2 points on a performance like that, can't really complain

were catalan at full strength for the 1st time this season? not as easy as many predicted, don't be suprised to see them win a few games between now ant the end of the season

as for ourselves i thought we played panic rugby, and the fear of losing to them wseemed to show in attack, but defence was excellent

Pelo?

There starting pack was squad numbers 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13. Tells it's own story of why they were trying to hit us through the middle constantly.

Personally I think we're shagged without Long. We should make the 8 but can't see us winning a play-off game with no SH, unless our pack is fully fit and completely dominant.

We had at least 2. Radford decided to throw the ball at the sticks for one of them, and Hall missed the ball in the other. TBH, we probably had quite a few (their discipline saw to that), it was just poor execution that didn't make them count.

Agree. They were even more wasteful than us, otherwise they could have had it wrapped up with 10 minutes to go. Just have to how we react to such a performance now.

TBH.. We were poor even with Longy on the pitch against Hudds last Sunday... Longy was on the pitch for probably 85% of the game today, and he didnt do anything any different to last week, so I don`t think we can play any worse without him.

We are not a great side, but if we can come 5th / 6th it will be a good season after the dross before. Still, we should be better but we're not. Simples!

You're right , we're not a great side. We're not a good side either and worryingly we ain't going to get any better , at least we're not going to see any big names coming in to improve things. We'll lose Cussack and replace with an English prop ( quota reduction) , then what? I fear most will stay or we'll replace like for like ( Aussies will be staying in Oz for economic reasons regardless of cap anyway ). I can't see an end to the mediocrity , I just hope and pray that the board have got some left field signings in mind that I've not thought of , otherwise it's just more of the same for the next 2 or 3 years. Agar. Entertaining it will not be. Depressing ? Certainly.

One of the saddest things is we are supposedly at full cap as well with the emphasis on "Quality not quantity" yet we are streets behind some other teams who have managed quality and quantity.

Looking at Hudds run in and the overall quality of Leeds we will probs finish 6th. Those 2 points could actually be the difference of a home tie against 7th rather than the opposite. How's that for positive spinicon_smile.gif

And yet we're sat in 4th having just opened up a further 1 point gap between us and two of the teams chasing from below. One of which at least was predicted to finish above us this season. Not bad for a side that isn't even good. icon_rolleyes.gif

We're a side that still needs work, but to suggest that we aren't any good at all is just plain daft given our league position.
