| Very good signing, hopefully his injury issues are behind him. Two year deal is a good idea.

| Definitely a good player.
Not without his faults he made a couple of real howlers against Salford but a good player all the same. It's just that Rovers have signed better players in his position.
He's loving it at Rovers and would loved to have stayed but he's got a career to think of and he'll leave with our best wishes.

Better fullbacks? Is that the well known full back Peter Hiku, or the permanently injured Evalds who plays on the wing just as much as full back these days

| I liked him last time he played for us, he's certainly a talent (and despite the comment above ) a lot of Rovers fans I've spoken to are sorry he's leaving, he's certainly done a good job for them. He obviously realises the doubt over his durability with his honest comments about looking after his body. I just worry we are getting a bit top heavy in some positions and still light in others. Wait and see what the final outcome is I guess.

Probably that promising young full back PLT whom they beat everyone to sign about 3 years ago and has been mentored by Coote ever since

Agree with you, think it’s a smart move by the club as it gives us competition as well as cover at FB. He’s still young at 24 though seems to have been around for years. Hopefully his previous injury issues have been more due to his young age and his body will now be a little more robust as he’s developed with age.
He has always looked a natural FB since breaking through as a teenager in Leeds first team.

| Good signing for me, young, talented and British. He's looked in decent nick this season for Rovers, hopefully his injury worries are behind him.

| From TS comments on his signing he seems to have the right attitude towards performance and club culture as well as being durable mentally after battling through a lot of injury and adversity. Hope he gets a bit of luck along the way.

| Smart signing IMO, not a great ammount of good young British players, ok comes with risk, but most players do these days.

| When he first emerged at Leeds he looked like he was going to be a star (similar in potential to Welsby at Saints). Unfortunately, a couple of bad injuries seemed to knock him off course a little, but he has shown signs this year at rovers of recapturing something of his original promise.
I recall him playing for Leeds in a WCC game down under a while back (think he was still a teenager) and Phil Gould mentioned in the commentary that he was impressed by him and felt he had potential to play NRL. Given Gould's notorious apathy and low opinion of SL that was some compliment!
If he can put his injury problems behind him (Walker that is, not Phil Gould!!) then he should be a good signing, giving us options in the backs at the very least.
Fingers crossed it goes well, both for him and the club.

I said several weeks ago we should sign Jack Walker and obviously it seems the club agreed with me.
Whats your point?
