| “Matalan - reasonable prices “ repeat
Spent 2 hours talking to Rich Agar in Perpignan on 2010
after the game and my mate le Mac rolled Mark O’Meleys
smokes !
A female fan said Jordan Turner called her a *unt
Westerman was about town like a Spielberg convert
looking for his debut film opportunity.
Anyways - can we win this one or rest a few players
to ensure we topple Salford the week after ??

| If the Catalan team we play next week is the same as the last two weeks, I'll be disappointed not to get the win.

Bet that was a stimulating conversation. Who fell to sleep first?

Waccy-baccy or crack cocaine?

Decent enough chat up line.
Did he manage to score with her?

Le Rimmer du Yorkshire a Encore Frappë.
Absolute classic. You not seen it?

| They seem to have struggled a little bit against the 2 relegation favourites so far.
Think this is a winnable game.

| Rich Agar was chatting NFL for a while and I had just finished my Youth coaching so had a good chat about players in the FC and KR Youth system and finer aspects of coaching etc
“Matalan - reasonable prices” was a chant that 4 drunk FC fans were singing almost non stop during before and after the game we won.
‘‘Twas a great weekend before emigrating to Melbs
We were then caught in the ash cloud I believe so had to spend an extra night on the sauce in Toulose
Then caught high speed train to Paris for a flight home to different airport !
The Toulon trip was just as adventurous a few years earlier in 2006 I believe
France beat Brazil so the whole town was going mental
My 2 mates , one of which was Dean Hadleys dad, slept in a room so hot it was basically the Black hole of Calcutta
me and Safety Dave slept on the roof of the motel to stay cool
I slept in the biff listening to The Smiths and sipping on cold Kronenberg (numbers).
Carcassone and it’s castle made York look like a council estate
heady days

Brings back memories of 2010 when we just beat it flying to Rome from Sydney to start a 6 week holiday around Italy with friends. We then came to England for 2 weeks staying a week near Millom (my wife was brought up there) and a week in Hull.
Our last day in Cumbria before driving to Hull was marked by a timeline showing that on a visit to the Seascale nuclear site where my wife worked before migrating to Aus, we were on the same road as the notorious Derrick Bird who on that day shot dead 12 people and injured 11 more.
Hull was a little less dramatic but was highlighted by attending my first Hull game at home since I left England in 1966. St Helens were the opposition and it was a classic. Down 6-20 at half -time and then going to 6-26 we made a great comeback winning 27-26 with a drop goal by Danny Tickle in the last minute. Houghton and Roby played that day although Cunningham played hooker. My sister- a long time Hull season ticket holder- sent me a video of the match which I still treasure.

| Can we win this Friday? I still worry about the Defence - Leeds looked average or worse and scored 18 points

| It's never easy to go over there and win, but they don't look like they have hit their straps yet and we don't have the heat to contend with at this time of year, so I'd say it looks a very winnable game. Hopefully a couple of the absentees are back in contention for this one. A bit more size on the bench please.

Definitely need Sao back, we look a different team when the heavyweights go off and very fragile, especially on the edges, particularly when teams target Mackintosh, who for me, isn't up to it, I think we can win this one though, I would imagine Smith will still play the same team if the injured guys aren't ready, but he may rotate the team differently, as we all saw what happened at Leeds when they really could have put us to the sword, but luckily for us, weren't clinical.

| Taylor has copped a 1 game ban for that leg twist so he'll be missing.
Definitely need Sao and Savelio back.

| Could be a very well timed return for Sao to replace Taylor.
I also really hope that Sutcliffe's knock is nothing too damaging, Sternum injuries can be very awkward, even if minor. If he isnt fit, and with Lane failing his HIA, we could see Sao coming into the second row partnered by Savelio with griffin moving to the centres, which would be a shame given how well he has started the season there.

Disgraceful decision
Should have been given a red card for that but they deemed a penalty try was sufficient punishment.
I wonder what they would have done if the player had managed to ground the ball after the tackle.

Is it an either or thing with a penalty try?
If the penalty try is awarded then they can't show a card?

If it is I bet Cas wanted a sending off rather than a try.
