| Just under 2 weeks until it all starts again.
Really looking forward to this pre season with the move to Hull Uni and our new coaching set up and new signings coming in.
Looking forward to who the club appoint on to the coaching staff and on the playing front, having a fully fit Joe Cator, Carlos and Savelio will be like having 3 new signings too.

| Hopefully see a vast improvement in conditioning and lower limb injuries.

| Me too, be nice to have soon announcements soon, not sure why Gene hasn't been announced, as well as the conditioning team and a couple of new signings.
Really need a bit of luck with injuries this year, last time we had some luck we won the Challenge cup twice.

I wouldn’t say Cator is injury prone. Been desperately unlucky.
To rupture an Achilles is quite rare so to come back and do the same thing in your first game back is pure rotten luck.

looking at the criticism of our former physio and conditioning staff maybe he was brought back too early.
Tuimavave also suffered from recurring hamstring injuries which i have always said were because they brought him back too early

But you are guessing that about Carlos aren't you, unless you ate part of the conditioning team, you would have no way of knowing that.

| Be interesting to see who we have lined up in the friendlies during pre season. I'd guess maybe another against Bradford and maybe one against a Yorkshire based SL side.

The conditioning team have gone and they wouldnt admit they brought him back too early would they.
The club needed Carlos back on the field and i guess they were under pressure to get him back but that pressure shouldnt have had a bearing on their judgement that he was fit to play which i think happened.
I said months ago that the club should look at changing the physio and conditioning staff based on the number of injuries and recurring injuries the players had and now the club has acted so i think my guess as you say has some credence

I do know for certain that Carlos didn't rate the clubs physio and he even got his own physio once he started his rehab before he went back to New Zealand.

Savelio played 19 out of 24 games in 2021.
Depends on you definition of 'injury prone'. Cator has had two major injuries. To me 'injury prone' means picking up injuries regularly, i.e. in and out of the team.

It was always a worry with Savelio, given his knees were suspect after major previous injuries, but he did seem to have avoided anything serious, until this last devastating injury, for me the player's worth to the team was a risk worth taking. Let's hope he has a proper rehab and comes back to his best, which on his day, is as good as most in SL.

It's "you're".
You said he'd been injury prone since 2020 which as I pointed out is wrong as is most of the tripe you post on here.
