Connor
Swift
Griffin
Tuimavave
Faraimo
McNamara
Sneyd
Satae
Houghton
Sao
Savelio
Lane
Cator

Have to agree with you Mrs B .maybe thats why Hodgson brought Faraimo off early.
Not a game to carry two nines when you have Cator in the team so Brown on the bench for me although it seems Hodgson likes to use Scott.Again that gives the option to move Griffin into the second row if required.

Tend to agree with on the 17 for Wire. Thought both Johnstone and Faraimo played their way into the 17 with their performances. Faraimo looked very solid both with and without the ball. Johnstone brought some speed and creativity which showed in his try that was well worked and something we haven’t seen a Hull side do for years.
With Lane most probably moving to replace Mau then Cator slots in at loose forward so feel a Houghton/Johnstone combo is needed against a side like Warrington particularly with Reynolds missing.
Fonua out the 17 for me based purely on performances so far between him, Swift & Faraimo, as I thought Faraimo outshone him by some distance against Feb.
Fash has done enough to keep his place and I thought Bowden looked good so think Jack Brown will unfortunately for him have to wait a bit longer before he gets a shot.

| Dropping Mahe at this stage of the Season would be a MASSIVE call. He's meant to be at his fittest and most committed.
Are we using him correctly?

| This match is very winnable - The Wire don't seem like themselves. Price leaving and all that.
Surely we can out gun them? I really hope so. Good test and building up nicely to Wigan 2 matches.

He doesn't look like it, looks too big and sluggish.

Not sure its a massive call to be honest, its should be a be relatively straight forward one to make as Faraimo took the chance he was given on Saturday and out performed Mahe.
Swift has been in great form since the game 1 and for me on Fonua's performances so far and Faraimo's on Saturday then the two who look to be the best in form and should be in the 17 for the Wire game would be Swift and Faraimo.
Thats been part of BH mantra since he came to the club that each player no matter who they are have to earn their place and be in form to keep your place, if not someone else will be given the chance.
I agree with Dave K in that Mahe has looked a little sluggish so far although he isn't the quickest by any stretch.

| Anyone any idea where the match can be viewed? Not on Sky or Our League. Hull FC website advertise Hull FC Live; either for £69 annual cost or £5.99 monthly. No option for members but advert states members £35 annual.

| I'm keen for Brown to get some game time soon. I rate him highly. But Fash did great against Salford and don't really like having 4 props on the bench. So either Johnstone or Scott on the bench for me to give us some more options. Griffin can slot into the second row if needed.
As for the backs, I didn't watch the Fev game but it sounds like Faraimo maybe deserves a chance. I'm not sure about Fonua. He does look fitter this year and his workrate is good. He is doing the hard yards for the the team. He just doesn't have that explosiveness that he had in his first spell. He was such a handful and a great threat in the air too but he's just a bit of that athleticism. Faraimo will do the graft, but he will also offer more threat I think. My only concern with him is his basic errors, but then Fonua isn't much better anyway.
Connor
Swift
Tuimavave
Griffin
Faraimo
McNamara
Sneyd
Satae
Houghton
Sao
Savelio
Lane
Cator
Taylor
Johnstone
Bowden
Fash/Brown

It's on our league, but the only way to watch it is have have a season pass.
I bought an online membership thing for £70 from the club and this gives me Hull FC live and all the games behind closed doors via our league.

| Mahe might not be playing at his best atm but he has the X factor and will explode in a game very soon, Faraimo is a mid to bottom of the table SL player and not one who any of the top title chasing sides would have playing and will likely be gone end of this season. Swift and Fonua are our best centres and need to play

I’ve never seen Swift play centre, and even if I had I’d doubt he was better than Carlos.

Or Griffin. Centre of the week in round 2 and picked for the international squad that meets up tomorrow.
