Fingers crossed for that second scan. To lose him for four weeks or so is a blow, for him to miss the rest of the season would clearly make any success on the pitch very tough to say the least.

The guy wins us so many games just by his boot alone. Even if he is anonymous ball in hand one game you can guarantee he'll still be slotting kicks over and on hand to knock a drop goal over if needed. A true match winner, and would be a massive disappointment to lose his for the season.

As good as Connor is it's Sneyds sniping kicks to touch and tide turning 40/20s we'll get nowhere without. If his season is over, so is ours.

This will be a great opportunity for Connor though. We often see young players get given a chance when an established player is injured and this is where they flourish.
If Connor is as good as we say he is (and the amount of MOM performance at half back does tell a lot), Sneyd may struggle to get back in the team.

Connor and Kelly are our most talented players but neither are an organising scrum half witb a controlling kicking game.

I don't agree, we will miss him, but Sneyd's field kicking hasn't been great this year, we will miss his organisation and game management for sure, as you could see against Cas, but Connor was on his own in that game.

With Kelly and Connor we can still have a good season, but we will have adapt slightly.

we are lucky to have connor to slot in the halfs, but for me Kelly and sneyd are our num1 pairing, saying that we have 3 very good halfbacks atm,
