| So what do we expect? A massively weak team or maybe a better one than we think with 2 or 3 returning from injury? I think if players are near fit then we need to risk them as we're desperate for the points (even a point would be massive for us IMO).
salford the week after looking like a dead rubber so risk them this week then rest whoever needs it in time for the cup game.
Having said that, our record against wigan at the KC in recent years is pretty abysmal I think and with them bringing a few back I think they'll win the game fairly comfortably.
One thing's for certain though, if you're on a losing streak your game against Hull FC can't come round soon enough

| Struggling to see a win here if we have as many out as we are expecting. The squad will get announced later today but if recent weeks are anything to go by it wont tell us anything. If we can somehow find a win we will still be in a healthy enough position, with a decent lead over Wigan and probably back ahead of Wakefield, but its a big ask with so many out. Lets see what team is available.

| Think this game will be just one too many for both teams and for us in particular after having the trip to and from France and such a physical game there. The loss of Watts & Griffin won't help either and annoying as don't think Griffin was deserving a ban as there was no push or malice and a caution & fine would have been more than enough. That just shows the division between officials and the game as if they are literally gods, FFS he touched him on the shoulder once.
As for the Watts ban, didnt expect anything else from the RFL but still find it amazing how O'Loughlin does the self same offence and doesnt see red or recieve a ban.

I can't agree Re. Griffin. You simply don't touch the referees, in fact, if you're not the captain you shouldn't be speaking to a referee about a decision. It's an element creeping into our game that I don't like at all.
The standard of refereeing is dreadful though, but that's a different topic.

Looking forward to this one.
Is there any wonder the game struggles when we'll have Fonua, Ellis, Taylor, Logan & Sneyd (Talanoa probably too come Saturday) sat in the stands injured along with Tomkins, Manfredi, Gildart, Gelling, Bateman, Escare, Flower & Clubb from Wigan? There's the bulk of a top8 side there. Not to mention Griffin & Watts suspended (I agree with Griffin being suspended, but not Watts).
The RFL really have to start taking player welfare seriously. Not to mention the knock-on effects of dishing up a poor standard of rugby with sponsors, attendances, media attention etc.
It was the same at Catalans, I think they had nine players out(?).

| Tom Davies should've been banned for this game for his late slide on Tupou.

| From the results I've seen Wigan look useless
Leigh and Saints and Dragons also looked useless
Let's bloody hope we aren't the most useless of the most useless teams
