Got the correct decision as well.
Perhaps if they'd spent that long on it at the wire / sts game then they may have got the right decision there as well |

I agree, I would like to see the rule state "Controlled downward pressure", implying the player must have possession and not in the act of losing the ball. |

i agree with that.you cannot apply much pressure on a rugby ball with your little finger sliding down the ball. |

Rubbish, half the tries the wingers score would not be given due to fingertip placement of the ball down.Saying you have to use the 'palm' or it's a no try is hilarious. If there is a fingertip on the uppermost part of the ball it's a try, it can't be any simpler to be honest and with the tech easy to prove/disprove. it's jst that the system isn't great.
Or are we going to say that a slight knock-on with the fingertip doesn't count either, what about a fingertip in touch, let's not bother with that either!

The on field decision was, Try to Hull. That being the case, in the absence of clear evidence to the contrary, it should have been awarded pretty quickly. Thaler spent the time trying to find a reason NOT to give it. |

Was it not,no try to Hull from the ref,the video ref changed it after what seemed forever. |
