| As a Leeds fan I was so damned pleased for Houghton: he sums up your new found team spirit. Never stop working for each other; it was what helped the recent Leeds team so successful. Now go on and win the treble.
It will go down in RL folklore.

| Freedom of the city of Hul for Danny Houghton.
That one tackle saved the game for FC
Danny Houghton was magnificent for Hull but so was his opposite
number for Warrington, Darryl Clarke.
When 2 teams are so evenly matched it is often the defensive cover that is the
difference between two evenly matched sides.
So happy for you guys, hopefully the balance in power in Yorkshire is moving from Leeds to
Hull.
Can you back it up at Old Trafford.
PS. Have an off day the next time you visit Belle Vue.

Because he's a fecking amateur. I understand you let things roll in a final but he was just out of his depth.

Worst decision of the match was when we were attacking and they knocked the ball down and we re-gathered. That was 6 more 20m out but he thought we'd knocked on. Unbelievable decision.
We never got enough blokes into the ruck long enough to slow them down but we still conceded 2 pens for lying on. Meanwhile we had the slowest ruck against us we've had all year. Going forward to GF semis and alike we need to address that but the sauna heat undoubtedly made things hard for us.
What can you say - nowt much from the ref (who was fair but gave us nothing in the 50/50) AND WE STILL MADE HISTORY.
Fantastic day.

Because Shaul got tackled straight away 1m from his line, in that case you go to a scrum 10m away and your head and feed. Let you start the set 8/9m better off and a breather, don't see the problem here.

| In 2005 we had Richard Swain's charge down to deny Kevin Sinfield in the last seconds. That moment has, rightly, gone down in the folklore of our great club.
Yesterday, another great hooker to wear the famous black & white has his own "Swain" moment. Put simply, if Currie holds onto the ball then he slides over the line and one of the most heartbreaking defeats ever would have been ours. I don't think I would have been able to go on living if the Cup had been snatched away from us in so dramatic a fashion.
When Currie broke the tackle and steamed towards the line, my stomach churned, I honestly thought the dream had been crushed in the most cruellest of fashions.
Enter an Fc hero. Danny seemed to come from nowhere and hit Currie so hard he not only stopped his momentum, but he forced the knock on as well. For a man who had already made 51 tackles in 79 minutes whilst trying to galvanise our slightly stuttering attack, this was an effort of superhuman magnitude.
Without a shadow of doubt, the single greatest "moment" in all my long years of suffering, praying and hoping while watching Fc.
As with the Swain moment, we will relive "The tackle" for the rest of our days and Danny Houghton is assured of his place in the Fc Hall of Fame.
