I have a friend who's on holiday in Cornwall he and his family are interrupting there holiday and flying from Newquay to Gatwick and staying in London for a couple of nights so they can be at the match, its amazing the commitment of the black and white army to be there at Wembley to support their team

I've heard about other supports flying home from holidays abroad early got to take my hat off to them best supporters in the league anyone else going above and beyond to be there on the 27th of August

I always avoid wembley weekend for my annual hols for this exact reason. I'm sure there will be someone coming over from NZ which is about as far away as you can get

Much less than plenty of others - Spooky who used to post on here is coming over from Canada. We're in France for a fortnight and the final's the middle Saturday so we're flying back for it then going back to France. Sort of our own fault, but was the only fortnight we could both get off work in the summer holidays and never imagined the season would go this well. Would be rubbish to miss the final having plugged away at freezing pre season games at Donny etc - just has to be done.

There are around 10 of us also making the Newquay to Gatwick flight.

Picking up the phone and ringing the RL and driving down on the day....easy

i'm on holiday that week in the back of beyond in Wales at the world alternative games. i'm interrupting the holiday to head to wembley and back on the saturday. there's some irony in this as in 2005 i was at the leeds festival and missed the saturday to drive to cardiff and back. of course if this year's final was in cardiff it would have been a jolly little jaunt of an hour or so, but instead i've got a lengthy journey on country lanes an b roads and wont see a motorway until swindon.

but lets hope it a good omen

I hope so great effort, I once thought it a good idea to have a week in Newquay wales and a week in Skegness 8 hours drive later I arrived in skeggy never again it look so little on the map as well, safe journey and as you say its an omen TBH there's a lot of Omens which are pointing the same as they did in 2005 our route to the final been one all tough super league teams is one which sticks out
