Why is the round 16 home game against St Helens on a Saturday at 3pm?

think the club are having a big fan park in west park its the Steve Prescott decider and a double header when fc U23s take on saints u23s straight after the main game first time the club have been able to put this on so a great day of rugby which couldn't be done on a Friday night looking forward to it and honouring the great man Prezzie

They better not change it at this late stage. The Championship play off date was set last year. City been likely to playing in it since Christmas. So this should have been sorted months ago.

So City likely to be playing in a one off match, was likely to happen despite 26 games (plus 2 play off games) still to play???

Looking forward to it, should be a great atmosphere and hopefully the weather wont disappoint. Interesting to see how many people stick around for both games, never know, could give the club some ideas about getting people down to the reserve league.

I'd hope they'd leave it as the Saturday, not everyone is bothered about soccer.

You know what I mean. I maybe should have said it was a possibility. But given how the league has progressed this year, if City were to be promoted it was likely that it would be through the play offs. Therefore if we as a Rugby League team felt that it would impact on our game then we should have made a decision weeks ago not a few days before hand.
Even now despite them being 3 0 up there is still no guarantee of them making the final. But it is likely. I will still be very annoyed if we even think of changing our match date.

Selfishly, I hope it is swapped to the Sunday. I'm not an avid Hull City fan but I go to the odd game and would quite like to watch the final on TV. That would mean missing the U23s game, which I would also like to watch. If it's moved, I (and I assume I'm not the only one) will get to watch all 3.
