Just watched the last 20 min again and boy did we play well, doesn't forgave the first 60 but still very good, I think in that period sneyd was in a lot of the play and kicked and took control well, I know some are still unsure of him and he cert has work to do but imo hes coming along nicely

He has a lot of ability, needs a platform from his forwards to work from, his little kicks into touch at the end was something needed just to show we are not going to make brainfart decisions, I thought he did a kick in the first half but never told any of our players & they was all stood deep expecting to hands it, got his work to do as to know as & when certain plays are or on or not, but happy with him, defo need a brough type player to improve us.

Overall, I thought he kicked well. He put a couple down the Full Back's throat the in the first half, but in the second half he did what was required.

As mentioned before, his goal kicking was brilliant when we needed it to be. The kick into touch at the end was well executed. I know it's not necessarily difficult, but we've been critical before of not making the right choices, but we executed things very well for those last twenty minutes on Friday. If we could do it for 80 minutes, we'd be dangerous.

Thought he should have kicked more bombs in the first half as the sun was in cock heads face, should have tested the bin divers best fullback more imho.

He defiantly has lots of potential and ability, he just needs to be more consistent. He may need a mentor like a ex halfback to come in and help him improve his game. But he controlled the game brilliantly in the last 20.

Sneyd and Brough could be great foils for each other. If only....

Agree, but he's our No 7 at the moment and probably needs a good run with a fit No 6 to form a partnership.

Hopefully, that would allow him to get to the next level and be more consistant.

He was fantastic and everything went through him, also thought Turgut stood up well against some big players in the short time he was on.

Sneyd is the best scrum half we've had since Cooke left (Head and Dykes great players but never on the pitch). Sure he's not the complete player yet, but he's got a lot of ability. He gets unfairly criticised sometimes imo when other players simply aren't giving him any options. When the pack does their job and he has guys running into holes he knows how to unlock a defence.
