When the old board offered Shaun Briscoe a new deal to him (he took afew months to think about it) when he said he'd sign they said the deal had been took of the table and he signed for Hull KR

Its definitely true about Shaun Briscoe and may be true about Rankin as nobody has said where he is going.
If a player really wants to stay at a club he will sign the contract on offer, not wait for a better offer from someone else to come along.

Rankin initially wanted loads. Then they found common ground. Hes been waiting for hull to sort it for a bit. Then theyve taken it away.I assume they've decided they want the money for something else. Can see him playing against us next yr. |
