Back when Lee Radford was appointed in Sept 2013, Adam Pearson in the following articles stated that he wanted us to have an attacking style of play and an attacking strategy everyone can identify. My question is why are we seeing no evidence of this?
www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/rugby-league/24227420
www.hulldailymail.co.uk/Adam-Pea ... story.html
When comparing Super League records (not including playoffs), Lee has coached 32 competitive games and won 11 giving him a 34% winning ratio scoring on average 23 points per game. Compare that with Peter Gentle who coached 54 games and won 28 giving him a 52% winning ratio scoring on average of 25 points per game. So not only did our previous coach win 20% more games, he also had a team scoring more points on average per game. With that in mind, Adam Pearson deemed Peter to be unsuccessful and sacked him. So why has Lee escaped with a much worse record?
AP was quoted as saying "I want us to have an attacking plan that every player and every supporter knows, I want this club to be known for playing hard rugby and attacking rugby. Lee is charged with bringing in an attacking plan that mirrors the defensive plan he's put in place. He has the ability to do that." Now as we are scoring less points per game and are winning fewer games, I can't see how Lee has delivered in what you wanted? I know I and most other fans I speak to cannot identify any obvious attacking plan in games. It's evident that most of the players do not understand it or do not have the ability to deliver it. Our style of play has to be the most boring to watch in the entire competition. It's also the least effective when you look at our league placing. Our attacking play has actually regressed under Lee. Also you have to say if the players cannot deliver it then that's is down to poor recruitment and or poor coaching.

| Our attack, has never improved since Kear was sacked...
Maybe, the Coaching Staff, think our execution in attack is of an acceptable standard???
In all aspects of sport.. when you think, you dont need to improve, you're in serious trouble.
Judging,by our attack, the Coaching staff need to up the intensity of training in this weakness in our game...
We were linked with Michael Monaghan & Paul Cooke as attack coaches,
but it failed to materialise..
The frustration is, we see the same old plays, week in week out, no set plays, etc .. it must be so easy for the opposition to defend against.

| There are a few obvious things in attack that we don't do in games that most coaches at even a basic level would instill into a team. We don't have much depth when attacking set plays. Our half's don't take it to the line close enough to engage defenders. Our dummy runners are either absent our the run is half d. Also our support play is alarmingly absent. Just what do these coaches do all week with the team and in reviews? The mind boggles.

| Always said sacking Peter Gentle was a huge mistake.people also forget he had to contend with an horrendous injury list at times yet we still finished 6th and a Wembley final.
No doubt in response there will be criticism about some the signings he made but there were also Paea,Thompson, and I think if we could have completed the deal with Scott Prince together with Miller which is what the club were aiming for then it could have been a very different Hull side.
My opinion on Radford was well known from last season and has never changed. It now seems most others have seen the light and Radford will be known as the coach who took the club backwards instead of forward.
Adam Pearson what a hole you have dug for yourself.

Dont think its a big hole at all, got a decent squad together, just need an half decent coach to coach them, Pearsons only got himself to blame for having to pay Radford off when it comes to it, because it will, just depends how long he'll carry on deluded that Radfords his man

A good performance stems from good preparation.
Prepare well... you play well...
We could have Thurston & Carney, wouldnt make ANY difference..unless
the training is of a high standard.

| We've scored some cracking tries over the last few years so we know the players are capable , But we don't see it enough.

Lee has escaped the boot because he is a cheap option,he said "if I cant do the job I will walk" Well obviously he cant do the job,as your stats prove, our attacking options are dire and yet pearson states "lees job is safe" Desperate times, please adam get rid and give us a chance before its too late. COYH.

| gentle was light years ahead of radford in coaching terms. Why would anyone think that a former 2nd row/prop who was a hopeless as a captain fare any better as a coach? How can anyone expect radford and last to come up with a decent attacking structure?

He's not cheap when you factor in falling crowds, likely falling merchandise sales and reduced SL money (possibly a million quid). Possibly the most expensive coach in the club's history

| no support play at all!
dummy runners aint fooling anyone!
play makers not taking line on enough, or getting near the defensive line!
the line of attack is far to deep so the defence can re-adjust to shut us down!
backs to slow(although if our attacking line wasn't so deep that wouldn't be such an issue)!
I said from the day radders was appointed he wasn't ready for the job, but I thought give him a chance, never should've let gentle go. coming back to bite us in the ass
