| This reads to me like a bit more than the usual "Get your tickets early" PR stuff.
"Hull FC are advising supporters to buy their tickets early for The Clive Sullivan Trophy against Hull KR with only limited tickets available on game day.
The match, which will be the first major hit out of pre-season for both squads, is still classed as 'all ticket' and it's unclear how many tickets will be available on the day.
With fans expected to leave it late to buy their tickets and many used to walking up on the day for pre-season friendlies, the club are strongly urging supporters to buy in advance in case tickets are not available for specific areas on the day and to avoid busy spells at the ticket office.
Supporters can buy their tickets from the KC Stadium where pass holders can also claim their own reserved season seat, whilst unreserved tickets are also available from the club retail stores and the TryPod outside St. Stephens Shopping Centre."
Bit weird that, can't remember seeing it before?

| I spotted that strange isn't it Has it ever been all ticket? I remember there was a lot of talk about closing turnstiles and cashless admissions last year and it says to 'avoid busy spells at the ticket office' I think its like that at City now. One things for sure it'll be all traceable back to the SMC!

They could well be with the derby fatigue that seems prevalent. Not seen anything that implies reduced turnstile capacity before though. It's been a day or so since the last incremental SMC pettiness though, must be overdue another piece of bitter nonsense.

Cashless admissions..WTF? Like they do at Salford where you buy a ticket at the ticket office then go through the turnstile? Not very efficient.

| First announcement about tickets on website said "As it stands this fixture will be all ticket."

| Seems strange to make it all ticket when there will probs only be about 10,000 people there (about how many there was last year?) seen as there will be 15,000 empty seats they might as well let people pay on turnstiles with the hope that a few extra people might just decide to go down on the day.

| It sounds to me that SMC will close part of the stadium for this match as its a friendly fixture and normally about 10000 attendance.
Think we may see 12000 for this match.

| It's a very badly writer and confusing article! I beleive the turnstile operators are being phased out stand by stand at City, but haven't heard anything about FC games, the club needs to clarify this not just for the friendly but for the league games as many pay on the day fans turn up at last minute.

He was right in the end: |
|
| Its not a case of the game being "all ticket" due to demand.
Allam has sacked all turnstyle staff, as he doesnt want anyone on the gates. Ticket only entry only, bought well before game day.
He wanted gate staff to basically be an untrained steward, stopping people once through the gate to check non adult tickets. So they have gone.
The SMC "MAY" put some cash tickets onthe gates, but rest assured will be a one off (maybe a two off)
Sunday will see less than 9k there. £18 is far to much to watch us play a pointless friendly
