It is hard to fathom, but Hull KR have completely outdone Hull FC with their recent signings of ace winger Kenneth Sio from Parramatta, and especially scrum half Albert Kelly and his close mate stand off/centre Maurice Blair from the Gold Coast Titans. Kelly is one of the most talented halves in the NRL. He is behind only Catalans' acquisition of Todd Carney as one of the most exciting signings in years for northern hemisphere rugby league. When you add former London speedster Kieron Dixon, and former Newcastle goal kicking wizard full back/winger Joshua Mantellato to the new Hull KR mix, it appears that Hull KR will have one of the best back lines in Super League.

My concern is that Hull FC has been caught napping, and that the smaller east Hull club is going to be the dominant locus of Super League success in the great city of Hull.

Why did Hull FC management let this happen?

Albert Hastings Perceval Kelly is an indigenous Australian, as is Maurice "Bobby" Blair. Kelly has great footwork, and ranks with Shaun Johnson and Mitchell Pearce as one of the three fastest scrum halves in the entire NRL. Kelly is also known in the NRL as The Intercept King. He is going to devastate opposition defences.

Both of these super halves are untried at SL level (and one of thems not even a half), some make it and some don't over here. As for Sio, Montellato, Dixon - are you having a laugh?

Before his late season injury, Kenneth Sio was one of the top three try scorers in the NRL.

Albert Kelly is a sensational talent. Look up his try scoring feats on You Tube and you will be amazed.

Kieron Dixon is an extremely fast winger with good footwork. Dixon and Sio will run in a lot of tries for Hull KR.

If you are happy with Leon Pryce then you are likely to be deeply disappointed very early in the season. Leon Pryce is a lazy, poorly motivated, squanderer of club resources at whichever club he has played for.

Marc Sneyd is a moderately talented scrum half, but no sensation.

Albert Kelly will literally run rings around Marc Sneyd.
