First game I've been to on friday since the pitch was re done.
Who else thinks the Flickering adverts are a distraction.
In fact If we had another vote on Friday or Sunday rugby, I'd vote for Sunday.
Surely they wouldn't be as obtrusive in Daylight.

I find them awful, and I would imagine the lower your seat is to the pitch the worse it will get.

they can actually be an health issue with them, we go as a family and on the odd occaisions at games, (other grounds too) it has led to my mother having white flashes in her eyes and makes her disorientated at times, similar to flashing photography on the tv, but at least you have prior warning on there

Aren't they supposedly less visible from the pitch due to the angle and elevation? Aimed at the spectators and not distracting to the players.

You also never know when that new screen in the South is going to work. If it's faulty, why hasn't it been sorted? Are the SMC deliberately running down the stadium so Ass Allam gets it for a knockown Cairo Marketplace price?

I didn't find them distracting at all during the game. No difference from the old plastic/cardboard hoardings for me.

Why would Allam pay for a new screen, then deliberately run it down?
